     We have loved having Drake at
     Lil' Dreamers Pre-K.  When he
started the program back in October,
   he was not potty trained at all but
     by the end of November he was
        going to the potty by himself. 
              It was pretty amazing. 
   The structure of the day with the
     picture schedule, as well as the
   music therapy with Ms. Shu-Ling
   has been great for Drake.  He has
           improved in many areas. 
          He transitions easier and
  his counting is so much better since
           he started the program. 
  Ms. Marcy and Ms. Blayke are so
              patient with him and
     he just loves coming to school.

Lil' Dreamers Preschool

Lil' Dreamers Preschool is for 3 to 5 year olds with delays in any of the following areas:

*Language
*Social/Emotional
*Fine/Gross Motor Skills
*Sensory Integration

Activities led by: Speech Language Pathologist, Music Therapist, & Certified Teacher

The purpose of Lil' Dreamers Preschool is to prepare 3-5 year olds to successfully participate in their first academic environment.   Preschool is in session on Wednesdays & Thursdays from 8:45-11:45.  For more information, please contact Betsy Huffstetler at 704-868-8551, ext. 102!

Here's an example of our Music Therapist using a picture schedule to transition between songs during Music Time.  A similar schedule is used throughout the day to assist with transitioning between preschool activities.
